Combining your Initial Breastfeeding Session with Understanding the 4th trimester session. This session ensures there's plenty of time available for assisting you with achieving your breastfeeding goals and to assist you to understand your baby cues, settling, winding, sleep and answer any other questions you may have.

This session is designed to give families all the support and education when there is suspected oral ties, it covers a full oral and feeding assessment, and assists to:

Get evidence-based information unique to your situation to get clear answers to all your questions

How to choose the appropriate providers for oral-tie release procedures for your baby

Learn the pre and post-care for oral tie release

Have a plan in place to maintain breast milk supply

Know what to expect on the day of the procedure

What's normal and when to seek medical assistance

advice on bodywork, who to see and why it's important

If you want a chat before booking a home visit or simply have some questions about breastfeeding, baby behavior, and cues, or are in need of some tips on settling your baby - a phone consultation may be perfect for you to gain some much-needed reassurance from an experienced midwife and lactation consultant.

Struggling with antenatal expressing? Want to set yourself up for success in breastfeeding? Or simply have questions and an idea of how you'd like to feed your baby, such as mixed feeding, but are not sure how to go about it? Had a difficult previous experience?

This session covers what to expect in the early days, how to ensure a good milk supply for your baby, common difficulties in the early days and how to manage them, and how to get the most out of antenatal (end of pregnancy) expressing. We can also go over what breast pump is best suited for your feeding goals, and how to measure correct fit breast pump shields.

If you've had a previous difficult breastfeeding experience this is a great opportunity to unpack that and have a flexible plan in place to avoid similar difficulties such as damaged nipples, low supply, baby weight loss amongst other concerns.

Unpacking the fourth trimester.

A one-on-one session focusing on understanding newborn behavior and what your babies’ different cries mean. Discussing and teaching different settling and burping techniques, understanding your newborn's sleep needs, and learning strategies to help you through the witching hour(s). Designed to build parent confidence in the comfort of your own home, with the opportunity to ask ALL of the questions! This session is done in a positive, organic, and baby-led manner. It's never too late to learn some extra skills to aid in a positive transition to parenthood

With the goal of assisting you with two consecutive feeds and combining the Baby Whisperer session between feeds, this is a great session for cementing any changes made to your feeding. It provides the time to ask any questions regarding breastfeeding, settling, or sleep needs for your baby or allows parents some respite to have some time knowing their baby is in the best of hands.

Let's get together to plan for your fourth trimester. During this meet and greet, we'll talk about:

• Your feeding goals
• Antenatal expressing if needed
• Newborn sleep and cues
• Your recovery
• A mental wellness plan
• preferred scheduled appointments once you and your baby are home
• and anything else you'd like to plan for in your postnatal period

The goal is to make sure you get the most out of your packaged appointments to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood. It's recommended to book this session when you're around 35-37 weeks pregnant.

Booking the 6 week package includes 8 postnatal appointments from once you are home through to 6 weeks of age.

up to 70% is covered by Medicare for eligible families.

This appointment is bookable by families who have booked a 3 or 6 week package during pregnancy.

It includes a 2 hour appointment focused on birth debrief, feeding support, recovery, and time to answer any questions you have.

Includes full oral functional assessment, observation of feed, time to ask all of your questions and a detailed plan to achieve your feeding goals. We can also discuss as required bottle types, flow rate, formula, allergies and reflux/ colic.

If you’d like to discuss sleep and settling please book an initial bf appt as this allows 2 hours to cover everything.
