Add an online booking page or link to your online store

    You can add an online booking page to your online store to offer a seamless way to receive bookings on your appointments calendar. You can also add a link to your online store that’ll automatically link to your appointment calendar, making it easy for customers to book services with you.

    Before you begin

    Before you can add an online booking page or calendar link, you need to create an online store. Learn how to set up online booking or set up your website.

    You have two options for adding booking:

    • Add a booking page to your online store

    • Add a booking link to your online store

    The booking page is best for multiple locations. If you have a single location or want to display locations separately, you can add a booking link to your site that displays a popup window with appointment times for one location.

    Your online booking page can be powered by Square Online, but you may also still be using an older booking page powered by Square's previous booking software. Additionally, you can embed booking buttons and widgets on a website built outside of Square.

    Option 1: Add an online booking page to your site

    To create an online booking page using Square Online:

    1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Websites.

    2. Click Website > Edit Site to open your Square Online site editor.

    3. Select the dropdown box from the top left corner.

    4. Click + Add page > Appointments > Add.

    5. Click sections of your site preview to customize your new online booking page.

    6. Click sections in the editing panel on the left side to customize.

    7. Click Publish to see the changes live.

    To make your online booking page your entire website, you need to delete all other pages:

    1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Websites.

    2. Click Website > Edit Site.

    3. Hover over your pages and click the trash can icon.

    If you're already using an online booking page from Square Appointments, you can replace your current page with the new one powered by Square Online. The old URL will forward to your new one automatically.

    Option 2: Add an online booking link to your site

    To add an online booking link to your Square Online site:

    1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Websites.

    2. Click Website > Edit Site to open your Square Online site editor.

    3. Click Header and toggle on Navigation.

    4. Select Dropdown or Mega menu.

    5. Click Edit links > + Add navigation link.

    6. Click the Link to dropdown box and select Appointments.

    7. Choose an appointment link type from the second dropdown menu.

      • If you have a single location, select Appointments booking pop-up which will display appointment times for a single location.

      • If you have multiple locations, select Appointments list page ― which displays appointment times for all of your locations.

    8. If you choose Appointments booking pop-up, select your location.

    9. If applicable, select your Services, Categories, and Staff.

    10. Enter a name to be displayed for the link.

    11. Click Save.

    12. Click Publish to see the changes live.
