Send messages to your team from the Square Team app

About messages and conversations
You can send messages and have conversations with your team in the Square Team app. Team members can share files, like images, PDFs or GIFs, in conversations.
Before you begin
You can send and receive one-on-one and group messages through the Square Team app.
Send a message
From the Square Team app, select Messages.
Select the pencil icon to compose a message.
Enter a team member’s name, or enter multiple names to send a group message.
Compose your message and select the send icon.
Search for a conversation
You can search for specific conversations in the Square Team app.
From the Square Team app select Messages.
Select the search bar and start typing a word or name.
If there are multiple instances of a name or term, use the up or down arrows to view each message.
